Working for Skydive Milwaukee

Sky Knights Background

In operation since 1963, Sky Knights Sport Parachute Club took on the Skydive Milwaukee name in 2005 as an effort to increase brand awareness. The club is owned by the approximately 100 members, all of whom were or are licensed skydivers. Each year a Board of Directors is elected to manage the club.

Skydive Milwaukee provides skydiving services to thousands of Southeastern Wisconsin residents each year. From first-time jumpers to experienced licensed skydivers. We are a seasonal operation that runs from April through the first week of November and the majority of our business is done on Saturday and Sunday.

Expectations of an Employee

It’s important to understand that we are looking for self-motivated individuals. The dropzone environment is a fast-paced, fun, and highly challenging place to work. For successful employment, individuals must be able to self-manage, problem-solve, and demonstrate a dedication to working hard. It’s expected of our staff to work 1-3 shifts per weekend.

It’s imperative that our employees take responsibility for their actions, complete tasks as assigned when asked for the first time, and go above and beyond to provide great customer service.

What we Sell

A dropzone’s priority is providing customers, experienced jumpers, and first-time students a fun experience that provides a positive feeling in their life. We are selling excitement and out-of-the-ordinary levels of fun. Our number one means of acquiring new customers is through positive word of mouth. As an employee in our organization, it’s important to be able to put your best face forward regardless of the situation.

Safety First

The safety of our staff and students comes above all else in our organization. We want to ensure that at the end of the day, everyone goes home the way they came - plus a feeling of accomplishment and excitement.
