Frequently Asked Questions

Everyone who skydives with us must be at least 18 years old and have a valid government-issued ID. There are no exceptions to this rule (Sorry, parental consent doesn't help under Wisconsin law). There is no upper age limit as long as you are in good health.
The tandem weight limit is 250 lbs. (including clothing and shoes), with an additional charge for customers over 200 lbs. The weight limit for AFF students is 230 lbs., with no exceptions.
Reservations are recommended for tandem jumps and required for AFF jumps. We cannot guarantee availability for walk-in tandems. It also helps us plan if you schedule your video in advance. We cannot always guarantee that video will be available on the day of your jump if not pre-booked.

The time you are given when you make your appointment is your check-in time. You are welcome to arrive early, but please do not register with the office more than 15 minutes before your check-in time.
Tandem students should plan on spending up to 4 hours with us (or longer for larger groups), while AFF students should plan on spending the entire day.
Wear comfortable clothing that is weather-appropriate and athletic shoes that tie (no "quick-laces"). We have jumpsuits available for you to wear, and we will provide any other necessary equipment (e.g., goggles, gloves, etc.). If you wear glasses, we have goggles that fit over them so you can see in freefall.
We cannot guarantee that everyone in your group will go on the same plane. Many factors affect how many jumpers are on each plane. Typically, your group can expect to be broken into smaller groups of 2 or 3 jumpers, depending on the day. This will allow you and your friends to watch each other gear up, board the plane, and land, and makes things go a little faster overall.
We do not jump if it is cloudy, windy, or rainy, so your jump will be rescheduled appropriately. Sometimes the weather near us can differ from what is happening in other locations, so we will let you know if your jump has been weathered out. If you are unsure, call our office before you come out for your jump. If we are jumping, and you don't arrive for your appointment, you will forfeit your deposit. AFF classes are held rain or shine.
Students (tandem or AFF) cannot wear cameras on their jump. USPA recommends that licensed skydivers have at least 200 jumps before wearing a camera, as they can create distractions and snag hazards. We have trained videographers on staff who can jump with you and get that great shot to use as your profile picture.

Of course! We have plenty of space for lounging, picnics, etc. However, we don't allow open alcohol before sunset, even if you are not jumping. Young children are welcome but must be supervised at all times. Please leave pets at home.
