Static line instruction
Want to get an affordable taste of freefall, while controlling your own canopy and working towards your license to skydive solo? Train the way paratroopers do.
The time-tested static-line program begins with a five- to seven-hour training class concentrating on exit technique and canopy control. After a ride to 3,500 feet, your ripcord is connected to the aircraft and you'll climb out on a step outside the plane. When you let go - (yes, you will!) - and fall away from the plane, the container opens and your parachute is deployed.
Once under canopy, enjoy the spectacular view as you guide yourself in for landing. Your instructor will review your skydive with you, and introduce the new concepts for your next jump.
As you progress through the student program you will gain more altitude and freefall time with each jump, and you'll work with your instructors to master the skills necessary to become a licensed skydiver.
- All skydivers must be 18 years of age and show valid photo ID. There are NO exceptions to these requirements.
- All skydivers must weigh 230 lbs or less. (See note on tandem passenger weight limits.)
- All prices include tax and equipment.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
- All student jumps must be within 30 days of each other to avoid retraining jumps.
